Women of Color Yoga Retreat

The Women of Color Yoga Retreat answers the question, “Now what?” that many women have asked themselves. This woman is in the Liminal Space. The space between “what was” and “what’s next.” She is in a place of transition or an awakening.

About The Event

Be reminded of your light through excises and workshops that help you dig deep to unearth limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, and undefined boundaries. Learn grounding techniques to cleanse, heal, and recharge your mind, body, and spirit. Leave renewed, refreshed, and resolved to continue what you started.

The tools given will aid in your awakening so you can continue to shine your light when you return home. And importantly, an exclusive community is being created to provide eight months of support through online group classes, in-person events, original materials/resources, and more.   It is your time to awaken.

The Women of Color Yoga Retreat is scheduled for this Labor Day 2022 at Hope Springs Institute - nestled in the Appalachian foothills, just a 1-2 hour drive from Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Huntington, and Charleston - and is an ideal location to reflect, relax and renew.

Dawn M. Rivers is a 500-hour RYT and can be found around Greater Cleveland offering group yoga sessions for local cities, organizations, associations, and corporations. As her own brand, she offers yoga teacher training, a mentorship program, and individual coaching sessions. Because of the work she had done in the community, she believes the power of the collective can make things better for all.

Keisean Raines is “The Calm Coach”, a MicroDosing Meditation Guide, and an LGBTQIA &  BIPOC community activist who works collaboratively with creative freelancers, consultants, and “soulpreneurs” to develop habits and rituals that support sustained personal and professional fulfillment.

Yogis of Color and Daybreak Yoga LLC were both developed, created, and owned by Dawn M. Rivers to produce spaces, activities, retreats, festivals, and training opportunities for People of Color.
