Hosted by Quanita Roberson & Amy Howton, this five day retreat is based on the book The Innerground Railroad. We will take a deep dive into our own stories and beliefs around race and healing.  

In the U.S., we are all swimming in the waters of what is right, real and true as White and male. Because of Western globalization these beliefs have spilled over the rest of our world and formed a yardstick by which we measure everything. Changing our beliefs, changes the yardstick. Quanita Roberson: I am the promise of forgiveness and reconciliation in the world. I haven’t always known this but I have always been moving toward it. I started my healing journey at a young age. I am a shaman. It has taken me a long time to grow into this...to grow into me. Mostly because I never quite understood why a person would choose this life. Amy Howton: I am a healer, facilitator, and weaver of stories. I listen to the stories that want to be shared and included in the weaving of new stories, ever more wonderful and true.
