About The Event
OVERNIGHT & MEAL REGISTRATION OPTIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. REGISTER BELOW TO JOIN US MONDAY AT 10:30 AM.
Hope Springs is welcoming our community to gather on the land on this pivotal day of the US Inauguration. We also lift up the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on this national holiday in his honor. This community gathering will be facilitated by Mary Bucklin, Tracy Jo Small, and Mary Manera.
We acknowledge the full range of feelings and beliefs about this moment in the unfolding story of America.
If you feel called to be with others who wish to mark this day together, we invite you join us for whatever part of the event you wish. Our final schedule of options will evolve over the weeks prior to the gathering; we anticipate offering movement, guided meditation, dream work, visioning the future, song & music making, fire sitting, time on the land.
Note that we will not be watching the inauguration, but rather creating an alternative observance that reflects our ongoing desire to create "the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible" (Charles Eisenstein).
Registration is required. Choose from three different participation options:
arrive Sunday anytime after 4pm, includes overnight stay, Sunday dinner & Monday brunch
arrive Monday for brunch at 9:30am
arrive Monday by 10:30am
The gathering will close by 3pm Monday.
During our time together, we will align with these priciples from the Core Philosophy of Hope Springs Institute

We value healing for ourselves, humankind, and the planet.
We believe in respect for ourselves, each other, and the land.
We value the land as a sacred teacher.
We practice an intersectional approach to our work that honors life's natural diversity and the dignity of every being.
