This timely spring workshop is designed to help you experience and learn about the renewing health benefits of cleansing the body and mind through a practice of  drinking herbal teas, eating delicious cleansing foods, and relaxing through simple breath work and yoga stretching.  Spring cleaning the home is a time honored tradition – spring cleaning the mind and body can be your new tradition.  Over the winter we have consumed and built-up toxins through the consumption of processed foods, alcohol, medicine, second-hand smoke and enclosed indoor air. Winter is often a time of increased physical stress, with fewer physical opportunities for exercise to release toxins and stress.

In this workshop you will drink herbal cleansing tea and learn how to prepare for and initiate a spring cleansing program. A cleansing program will jump start your system mentally and physically. You will lose weight, release toxins, regain over all balance and renew your energy.  This three-day retreat will start you on your way to a healthier lifestyle. 

The workshop would consist of:  Breathwork •  Cleansing • Yoga •  Massage

Breathwork-  learn to calm the mind and open oneself up to new ideas and release chakras
Cleansing- eat and learn about cleansing foods that detoxify the body naturally
Yoga- stretch with specific hatha yoga poses that release stress and toxins from the body
Massage- using reflexology massage to help release specific areas of stress

The Leader:

The Workshop will be lead by Nancy Willman.  Nancy is the owner and instructor at Main Street Yoga, located in Downtown Cincinnati Ohio.

Nancy personally developed and has taught this cleansing program for the past four years. The program evolved out of Nancy’s interest in Ayurvedic science, and how cooking and certain foods directly impact our health and sense of well-being. The program was also developed by a demand for health and wellness programs, that are tied to specific seasonal changes, that also compliment and expand the practice of yoga and breathwork. Nancy is certified as a Ayurveda & Yoga Wellness Advisor.
