DIRECTIONS TO HOPESPRINGS FROM COLUMBUS

From the belt-line around Columbus, take I-270 South to Rte 23 South. Take Rte 23 South toward Portsmouth. Stay on Rte 23 South until you come to Rte 32 and go West about 25 miles to Steam Furnace Road (the last turn before the traffic light). When you come to Steam Furnace Road, turn left. Go 1.7 miles on Steam Furnace Road. Turn left onto Mineral Springs Road.  This road twists and turns.  As you approach the 5-mile mark, you will be going up a little mountain road.  At the top, the road angles right an you will go by a farm on your left.  Then you will come to a gravel road that goes off to the right (Lucas Road) - DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. On your  left is Wood Creations.  Continue on Mineral Springs Road around the curve for a couple of hundred feet, then turn left into the driveway with 4988 on a wooden sign.  Go to "Proceed down the driveway" for directions upon arrival.

DIRECTIONS TO HOPESPRINGS FROM LEXINGTON

Take Hwy 68 North from Lexington to Maysville. Take the bridge from Maysville, KY to Aberdeen, OH. Turn left onto Hwy 52 and right onto Hwy 41. Take 41 North through West Union and stay on Hwy 41 for about 16 miles. Get into the right lane and turn right onto Hwy 781. Stay on Hwy 781 until you come to a "T" in the road. Hwy 781 will go right, you need to turn left. Take a right onto Mineral Springs Road (after Fristoe Lane).  This road twists and turns.  As you approach the 5-mile mark, you will be going up a little mountain road.  At the top, the road angles right and you will go by a farm on your left.  Then you will come to a gravel road that goes off to the right (Lucas Road) - DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. On your  left is Wood Creations.  Continue on Mineral Springs Road around the curve for a couple of hundred feet, then turn left into the driveway with 4988 on a wooden sign.  Go to "Proceed down the driveway" for directions upon arrival.

DIRECTIONS FROM CINCINNATI, OHIO

From the belt-line around Cincinnati, take I-275 East to Rte 32 East to Batavia. Stay on Rte 32 East, drive about 1 hour until you come to Steam Furnace Road (Steam Furnace Road is 1 mile East on Rte 32 after you pass the intersection of Rte 41 and Rte 32). Turn right onto Steam Furnace Road, drive 1.7 miles. Turn left onto Mineral Springs Road.  This road twists and turns.  As you approach the 5-mile mark, you will be going up a little mountain road.  At the top, the road angles right an you will go by a farm on your left.  Then you will come to a gravel road that goes off to the right (Lucas Road) - DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. On your  left is Wood Creations.  Continue on Mineral Springs Road around the curve for a couple of hundred feet, then turn left into the driveway with 4988 on a wooden sign.  Go to "Proceed down the driveway" for directions upon arrival.

DIRECTIONS TO HOPESPRINGS FROM DAYTON

TAKE I-75 south to I-275 toward Batavia/ Hwy 32E. It will be marked 275S or 275E. The sign may say "to Columbus" or to "71".

Follow 275 south and/ or east to the turnoff for Batavia, which is 32E.

Turn onto 32E and stay on 32E for about 1 hour (60 miles) until you come to Steam Furnace Road. Turn right onto Steam Furnace Road, drive 1.7 miles.

Turn left onto Mineral Springs Road, drive 5 miles. This road twists and turns. As you approach the 5-mile mark, you will be going up a little mountain road. At the top the road angles right and you'll go by a farm on your left. Then you'll come to a gravel road that goes off to the right, Lucas Road (DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD) and on your left is Wood Creations. Continue on Mineral Springs Road around the curve for couple of hundred feet, turn into the first driveway on your left, 4988 Mineral Springs Road.

Proceed down the driveway until you reach the Office. You can park in the Staff Parking area while you register (there is a Self Registration set up). Check the room listing to see where you will be staying. If this is blank, find a room you want to stay in and put your name on the line next to the room. There will be a general orientation with the whole group before your first session.

If you are staying in the Studio, you can drive across the bridge and up the gravel drive to unload your luggage. Please do not drive onto the lawn area. Immediately after unloading your luggage, return your vehicle to the Guest Parking area. Walkways from this lot will allow you easy access to all of the facility.

If you are staying in the Farmhouse, drive back to the Guest Parking area after registering and follow the paved walkway past the hot tub to the Farmhouse. This door will take you into the dormitory half of the house. The names of the rooms are on the doors.

AVAILABLE AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

We have people who are willing to provide transportation to and from the airports. You should coordinate travel by calling or emailing the drivers directly. You also pay the drivers. The cost range is $25- $85 per trip to the airport. The cost varies with the distance to the airport, the number of passengers and the time the driver needs to wait.

We appreciate that the drivers rearrange their schedules to accommodate the needs of our guests here at Hope Springs and know that you in return will be considerate when arranging your ride. All of our drivers charge the same rates, so choose the driver who can best transport the number in your group.

If a cancellation becomes necessary, please have the courtesy to notify the driver immediately. You will be billed for a trip if a driver is en route to the airport before he or she has been notified of a change in plans.
